WEEK 5
Guys its week 5!
Still one page to sign up for called Rubistar. Nice things there but what with finding a new name and password, again! At this rate don't you think your identity can be stolen?
I am still thinking of a project! I love the idea and am excited about the possibilities. It has to be hot and original! Where doIi find one and others like Susan Gaer have already come up with The PROJECT? Am a bit intimidated.
I have no idea how to do the WebQuest, so I am shelving the Extra work idea for now!I loved the projects I saw there though, very much.
The Rubrics were an eye opener and I think very useful for the teachers and motivating for the students. I have already used auto-assessment many times and it works magic. Let me rest now and continue tomorrow

  1. Hi Tina!
I guess one of the "goals" of this course is to "overload" us with accounts, usernames and passwords!!! (hahaha!). But, it's real magic to see how many Webtools exist!! They are there, waiting for you to explore them and ready to help you when you are in need! Like you, my Webquest is a bit far away... But I am discussing it with...myself and, hopefully, I will come uo with something interesting, like you will!!

  2. Hi Tina,

The rubrics were an eye opener to me, too! What a great way of assessment! I am looking forward to creating new rubrics and sharing them with my colleagues.

Don't worry about the WebQuest. I'm sure you will come up with an idea when you least expect it. As for the tehcnical part of it, it is not more complicated than the blog.

    All the best

  3. Tina, I know what you mean about passwords! I feel exactly the same way. It's rather ironic that I hate to sign up for any more accounts for anything because of passwords and just wanting to keep a low profile in cyberspace, yet here I am teaching a Webskills class.

I'm glad you found the rubrics helpful, and you'll come up with the right webquest!
