WEEK 4:
Becoming a Wired Teacher
Hi e- class mates!
I am still on the
road to becoming the wired teacher and soon I hope the course will move to
creating a web page!
My! The document by Krajka was long! The thought was good
but the Kenya Computer for Schools equipment program is still gazillions of
years behind and not coping too well! I may have to wait. But, If I will have
retired I will be at least a web designer. Such jobs are well paying here!
I wonder if the Kenya Powerless and Lightless Co will let me
finish or meet the Wednesday deadlines, so I am posting everything for the
week. I am also hoping that by using the site www.Marlo.com/card.html my girls
will start speaking English with a better accent and not in their maternal ! I
am still putting away material in the archives for reading after the 10 weeks
race! Thanks to Technology of saving and Delicious!
Tina
Hi Tina!!
ReplyDeleteI guess the Kenya Co really "care" for you since they make you do all the week's work so early in order to be free for the rest of the week!!! Anyway! Like you, I really liked the www.marlo.com/card and I do hope that my pupils will at least consider writing a fun activity. As for the material which needs more and deeper exploration, like you, I believe that even after the 10 weeks go by we will still have LOADS of work to do!! I hope you will make your dream come true, that is become a Web designer!
Take care!
Sure Georgia,
ReplyDeleteThank you for you care too!We are almost half way and thanks to encouragement from you and others.....!
The other site that will make my girls imitate the accent is www.manythings.org. Believe you me they will try for posts at the Kenya Television Network(KTN). Actually having a European accent is hot here!Have you ever heard bad English spoken with a hot accent?? It funny but not to the teacher of English!
Am really hoping for that designing because I can teach/work at home under my own steam!
